Introducing a New IES Omaha Section Award Category
Do you have a project that was completed after January 1st 2024 but you were just not able to submit for the 2025 IES Illumination Awards program? Fear not!
The IES Omaha Section is bringing back “The People’s Choice Award”. We want to show off your projects on our Section LinkedIn page and we want to make it easier for you to receive awards for those projects that are just too small to submit a full Illumination Award.
If you have a project with exceptional lighting, send us your best photo. Photos can be impromptu or professionally taken and can be of spaces, details, mockups, construction progress, or anything you feel is worth submitting!
Projects can be submitted until August 18th. This will be an interactive award, giving the entire section the ability to choose the winner. We will post a live voting link to our Section LinkedIn page. Voting will then be open until the Section Awards, where we will announce the winner at the end of the program. We will also be using these for project spotlights on our LinkedIn page throughout the following year

Award Parameters
- Please follow the link below and fill out the form with all the required information.
- Submissions should not include projects that have already been submitted for IES Illumination Awards.
- Only one photo can be submitted per project.
- Submissions should only be of projects under construction or completed after January 1st, 2024.
- Projects may be outside the Omaha area.
- Submissions will be accepted until the end of August 2025.
